During the winter break, Wilson Central’s wrestling team participated in 9 matches against Blackman, Beech, Smyrna, Coffee County, Sparkman, Bartlett, Bob Jones, Huntsville, and Rossview. The Wilson Central Wildcats competed in the U.S. Army Indian Classic on December 8th. Michael Mercante won 5 rounds in the 106 weight class. This week, Tuesday December 4th, the Wilson Central Boys Wrestling team took two wins at the Wilson County Duals.  They crushed our rival teams, Mount Juliet High School and Lebanon High School. The Wildcats won 64-16 against Mount Juliet and 58-21 against Lebanon. They had 9 pins on Mount Juliet and 7 pins on Lebanon.
