Spring– Track and Field– Maya Follmer Takes on Girls Pentathlon on 4/19/21

Only a sophomore, Maya Follmer competed in the Girls Pentathlon at the TSSAA Division 1 Large Section 3 Multi’s Meet on Monday April 19th. The Pentathlon consisted of five events, starting with the 100m high hurdles, shot put, long jump, high jump, and an 800m run. Follmer finished 5th overall out of 9 competitive athletes.

Spring-Lacrosse-Girls-Wildcats face off to play CPA and St. Cecilia

  On April 20th, Wilson Central went head to head with CPA on their opposing teams field. The game opened up by displaying the hard work of the girls through there effortless defense and aggressive attacks. Ansley McNutt and Riley Swinford were important to the game, for they scored 2 out of 6 total points

Spring-Lacrosse-Boys- Wildcats Reign Victorious Against Valor on Senior Day 4/18

On April 18th the Wildcats faced off against Valor on Wilson Central’s home field. Before the game, the team celebrated the leadership of the seniors, Kamron McIsaac (#21), Brandon McGeagh (#1), and Jonathan Hetrick (#2).  The younger players expressed their gratitude for the seniors leadership and friendship throughout the first ever season for this team.
