The Wilson Central High School Boys Basketball traveled to Lebanon High School to play the Blue Devils. It was a really close game that came down to the last couple of shots. Lebanon ended up winning the game 61-59. A big problem for Wilson Central in the game was the fouls they committed. Lebanon shot 17 free throws and made 11 of them, while Wilson Central only shot three free throws the whole game. Wilson Central and Lebanon made the same amount of shots in the game, but the free throws made the big difference. Only four players from Wilson Central scored that night. Each of those four players scored a lot of points though, as Jordan Beard had 21 points, Caleb Lawrence had 17 points, Adler Kerr had 12 points, and Zack Markus-Kellerman had 9 points.

After that game, the Wildcats fall to 9-12-1 and stay tied for seventh in the district. The Wildcats next three games are against the 6th, 5th, and 4th place teams. If Wilson Central can win some of those games, they can move up in the district standings. Their first game in this stretch is at home against Gallatin tonight. This game is Senior Night so make sure to show up to support your Wildcats in their last regular season home game of the year. If you can’t make the game, you can tune into NFHS Network to watch our broadcast of the game.
