Boys Varsity Golf, Girls Varsity Golf · Fall-Golf– Wildcats defeat Macon County

The Wilson Central Wildcats traveled to Pine Creek Golf Course to take on Macon County High School for the 3rd time this season. Both boys and girls have defeated Macon County both times and were looking for the three-peat.

The boys did complete three-peat shooting a combined score of 340. Leading the wildcats and the match once again, Golf 2018Trey Melvin shot a very good score of 76. Right behind him, Mason Adcock shot his best score of the season with a 77. Behind him Ty Baker shot a good score of 88. Behind him Zac Wilson and Eston Parsons tied with a score of 101. This brings the boys overall record to 3-1. The Boys really feel prepared with the district tournament closing in.

On the girls side, Kate Molly and Sarah Castle defeated Macon County shooting a combined score of 167. Kate led all golfers with score of 80. Behind her, Sarah shot a very nice 87. Her other sister Molly shot a respectable score of 104. The girls are still undefeated and hope to continue there awesome start to the season.

The Wildcats and Lady Wildcats next match will be against Portland High School at Portland Golf Course, Tuesday, September 10th. Both teams are scheduled to tee off at 1:00 P.M.
