Fall–Golf–Wildcats takes second behind Lebanon
Wilson Central traveled to Macon County to challenge Lebanon and the home team Macon County. The boys took second place with an outstanding 308 just one shot from match winner Lebanon who shot a 307 while Macon County took home third with 312.
In the boys division, Trey Melvin led his teammates with one of his best a 71, Connor Smith was just behind with a 75, Mason Adcock scored a fantastic 80, Ty Baker scored an 82, and Andrew Lena took an 85. The boys did an amazing job and are hoping to to continue the season the way it is going.
In the girls match, the Lady Wildcats also placed second with a score of 163. Macon County took first with a 159 and Lebanon took third with a 166. The Castle sisters are still playing strong. Kate Castle led her siblings with an outstanding 79, Sarah Castle scored an 84, and Molly Castle just behind with an 86. Both teams have had a good season so far and are ready for future matches.
You can see both the Wildcats and lady Wildcats in action at Pinecreek Golf Course September 6th at 1pm. They will be facing Portland and Greenbrier. Come out and support your Wildcats!
