Girls Varsity Basketball · Girls Basketball–Lady Wildcats Rejoice With Win Against Hendersonville, But Fall To Mount Juliet Lady Bears

The Lady Wildcats triumphed against the Lady Commandos this past Friday night winning their Coming Home game, but lost against the Lady Bears on Saturday.

The final score of  the Hendersonville game was 43-36.  The final score for the Mount Juliet game was 44-28, resulting in a loss for the Lady Wildcats.  Wilson Central couldn’t score any points in the 1st half, except for free-throws, but luckily the Ladies played some awesome defense holding Mt. Juliet to just  13 points. In the final quarter, the Lady Wildcats and Lady Bears scored points back and forth continuously,but Wilson Central could not come back for the win.

Lady Wildcat open for a passSydnee Richetto, Taylor Tucker, and Nicole Brill all scored the most points in both games, with Sydnee Richetto reigning with the most scored points overall these two games.  Other notable players are Bailey Kaposy, Julia Maki, and Teoria Woods, who also led the Wildcats to win against the Commandos.

Although the Wildcats lost to the MJ Bears, they will certainly return to the winning side in future game.  Wilson Central played District 9AAA and undefeated in the league Beech High School on Tuesday Jan 23.
