Girls Varsity Basketball · Girls Basketball—Lady Wildcats begin season at 5-0 then drop to 5-3 before defeating Lebanon 43-32.

The Wilson Central Lady Wildcats began their season under new head coach Jeff Keller with a string of victories reaching up to 5 wins.  In their streak they defeated Summit  56-44,  at Oakland  58-53,  Ravenwood 46-25.  An impressive win over perennial power Oak Ridge 64-55  and Sycamore 56-23. Central basketball player The great undefeated start came to a halt quickly and the Ladies of Wilson Central were beginning to turn some heads in the mid-state area.  With that the losses started to rear its head as girls basketball teamWilson Central lost 3 in a row beginning at Stewarts Creek 49-35 and at District 9AAA members—-at Hendersonville 35-32 and at Beech 43-30.

The next game played was on Friday night in front of a student body and die hard fans between the county rivals, Wilson Central and Lebanon. Another district battle in 9AAA as Lebanon started out the game with a commanding lead however, Wilson Central fought back to take the game in convincing style by the final score of 43-32.
