Multiple Teams · Volleyball–Lady Wildcats drop 3-2 decision to Cookeville

Wilson Central played host to the Cookeville Lady Cavaliers losing a heart breaker in 5 sets. The Lady Cats lost their first set by the score 19-25. Making a come back,  Wilson Central won the next two sets by identical scores of 25-19. Unfortunately the Lady Cavs won the next two sets to take the match from Wilson Central losing the fourth and fifth set 15-25 and 4-15 respectively. Freshman Katey Meador played well with 3 digs and 1 ace along with Sophomore Hailey Hunter finishing with 6 digs.

The JV lost in three sets with the scores 21-25 in the first set, 25-15 in the second set, and 15-17 in the third set. The freshman team also got some game action losing in two sets scoring 20-25 in the first set and 21-25 in the second set.

The Lady Wildcats next match is a district game against Lebanon. Freshman will play at 4:00, JV at 5:00, and Varsity at 6:00.  You can see the Varsity game on NFHSnetwork with the broadcast beginning around 5:45pm.  GO LADY WILDCATS!!!!!!
