The Lady Wildcats Celebrated Senior Night by  defeating Hendersonville  by the final score of 10-3.
Wilson Central came out and scored a run in the bottom of the 1st inning as Claire Smith connected on a triple to start the offense for the Lady Wildcats.  Followed by a Brooke Pfefferle single to right field, Smith crossed the plate to make the score 1-0. The Lady Wildcats added 4 runs in the 2nd, 1 in the 3rd 2 in the 4th and 1 in the 5th inning. Laney Tucker, Paige Robinson, Claire Smith, and Brooke Pfefferle all scored for Wilson Central.  Claire Smith hit her 2nd triple of the game and then scored on an error. Paige Robinson scored again for the Lady Wildcats and was their only run in the 3rd inning. Wilson Central scored 2 more runs in the 4th inning to push their lead up to 8 runs. The Lady Commandos came out in the top of the 5th scoring 3 runs. Wilson Central answered with 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th.

Here are the highlights of the 2nd game 24 hours after the first.

Meador Collects Four Hits As Wilson Central Defeats Hendersonville

Kenzey Meador gave Hendersonville fits, as she bagged four hits in Wilson Central Lady Wildcats 21-16 victory on Wednesday. Meador tripled in the second, singled in the fourth, singled in the sixth, and tripled in the seventh.

An early lead helped propel the Lady Wildcats to victory. The Lady Wildcats scored on a single by Eboni Jordan in the first inning, a single by Laney Tucker in the first inning, a single by Kaylee Richetto in the second inning, a triple by Kenzey Meador in the second inning, and a single by Jordan in the second inning.

In the bottom of the first inning, Hendersonville tied things up at three. Annsley Kalamon homered on a 2-1 count in the first inning, scoring three runs.

Wilson Central  took the lead for good with five runs in the second inning as Richetto singled off of Hollee Mattei, driving in one run, Meador tripled off of Mattei, driving in three runs, and Jordan singled off of Mattei, driving in one run.

The Lady Wildcats scored six runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Claire Smith, a single by Richetto, a walk by Jordan, a error, and a fielder’s choice by Morgan Stokes.

Hendersonville scored six runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Hendersonville came thanks to a double by MJ Mattei, a single by Jessica Stith, a single by Lexie Revis, and a home run by Kalamon.

Ashley Foster earned the win for Wilson Central as she tossed four innings, giving up nine runs, nine hits, and striking out two. Richetto recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for The Lady Wildcats. Mattei took the loss for Hendersonville. She went three and a third innings, giving up 11 runs, 14 hits, striking out two, and walking one.

Home runs for Hendersonville came when Mattei homered in the fourth inning, Alex Beavers homered in the seventh inning, and Kalamon homered in the first and fifth innings.

Wilson Central Lady Wildcats Varsity collected 25 hits. Brooke Pfefferle, Meador, Smith, Richetto, Jordan, Tucker, Paige Robinson, and Stokes each collected multiple hits for Wilson Central Lady Wildcats Varsity. Richetto, Stokes, Jordan, and Meador each drove in four runs to lead Wilson Central.

Hendersonville had 18 hits in the game. Stith, Revis, Kalamon, Mattei, Ace Hanson, Matti Byrd, Beavers, and Grayce Heatherly each collected multiple hits for Hendersonville. Kalamon went 2-for-3 at the plate as she led the team with five runs batted in.  Again, Final score Wilson Central 21-16 over Hendersonville.
