In girls tennis action, Wilson Central (4-3) topped Station Camp 8-1 for the second time this season, just losing one match in the process.

The senior team of Jennifer Beckham and Lani Lee routed Nidhi Menon and Natalie Major 8-1 at the number one doubles position.

The sophomore pair of Sydney Miller and Alex Roanhouse toppled Michaela Downey and Kaley Duncan at the number two girls doubles position to jump out to the early lead.

Sophomores Makayla Posey and Kaylee Wilson completed the sweep in doubles with an 8-0 win over Meredith Ashley and Gabrielle Cutler 8-0.

In singles the Lady Wildcats jumped out on top early at the two, three, and four positions as Lee defeated Major at two singles by an 8-0 count, while junior Cassie Joslin eased past Downey 8-4 to propel the girls squad to an insurmountable 5-0 lead.

Miller quickly added to the score with an 8-2 win over Duncan, while Beckham picked up the seventh point with an 8-0 win over Ashley.

Roanhouse closed the scoring with an 8-2 win at the number six position.

In the match of the afternoon, sophomore Savannah Westbrook had a long encounter with Menon and held a 6-5 lead before dropping the final three games for an 8-6 loss.
