Hubbell Throws Shutout As Wilson Central Defeats Milan 10-0DSC_1370

Aaron Hubbell didn’t allow a single run as the Wildcats defeated Milan 10-0 on Friday. Hubbell allowed just 2 hits and struck out  Jason White for Milan to end the game.

Wilson Central scored 4 runs in the 3rd inning. The Wildcats big inning was driven by a home run by DSC_0036Dawson Hamilton and a single by Peyton Hill.
One bright spot for Milan was a single by Creasy in the 1st inning.
Aaron Hubbell earned the win for Wilson Central . He went 5 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits, and while striking out 9.
The Wildcats had 11 hits in the game. Hill and Will Hudson each collected multiple hits for the Wildcats. Hill, Hamilton, and Hudson each drove in 2 runs to lead Wilson Central. Wilson Central was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error.


Wilson Central falls to Lafayette Central Catholic
Wilson Central watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-0 loss toLafayette Central Catholic from  Indiana on Friday. The Knights scored on a double by Berenda, a single by Tharp, a stolen base , and a single by Hudson in the 1st inning.
Lafayette Catholic IN took an early lead in the 1st inning.
One bright spot for Wilson Central was a single by Andrew Franklin in the 1st inning.
Richardson earned the win for Lafayette Catholic IN.  Franklin DSC_0607took the loss for Wilson Central. He threw 2 and 1/3rd innings, allowing 6 runs, 4 hits, and striking out 3.
Chase Ford, Dawson Hamilton, ConnerSullivan, Franklin, and Ethan Shelton each managed 1 hit to lead the Wildcats.
Lafayette Catholic IN had 11 hits in the game. Berenda, Schrader, Hudson, and Powers each collected multiple hits for Lafayette Catholic IN.
