Wilson Central fell to Clarksville Northeast 3-0 on a night that the Wildcat Nation had high hopes of advancing to play another game.  However, the Eagles had their own sites set for the same outcome.  Northeast pitcher C. Loose held the Wildcats to only 3 hits while lasting all 7 innings to take the win.  DSC_0169Hill threw 6 innings allowing only 3 runs but his offensive teammates couldn’t pick up the slack to keep up with Northeast.  The Eagles scored their first run in the 1st inning after Hill retired the first to batters with 2 pitches. The third batter took a pitch to his side and advanced to first.  With a line drive from the 4th batter, Scott advanced to third then scored on the Eagles 3rd hit in a row.  Hill got out of the inning with his first of his 6 strikeouts.  Northeast added 2 mores runs in the top of the 5th and 7th to make the final score 3-0.

DSC_0003The Wildcats close a season of memories and celebrations— winning the regular season championship and the district tournament championship for the first time in the same year.  Seniors leaving their legacy behind are Ryan Hill, Dawson Hamilton, Chase Ford, Mason Mobley, Andrew Franklin, Will Hudson, Peyton Hill and Nic Screnock.  The Wildcat Nation salutes the Seniors of 2017 and wish these young men much success in their future endeavors.
