Meet Recap

Wilson Central Cross Country boys were the Region 5 runners-up and are headed to state as a team for the 4th straight year!! Lead by top-ten performances by junior Russ Riggan (7th) and sophomore Alex Galligan (10th), the wildcats put on a gutsy performance in order to secure the 2nd regional spot and qualified for the TSSAA state meet on Saturday, November 4th at Percy Warner Park in Nashville.

In the girls race, senior Nicole Esslinger’s four years of hard work paid off with a very convincing top-ten performance to also qualify for the State meet! Nicole raced to a 7th place finish!
