Golf: Girls win again Boys drop first match to Lebanon

The Wilson Central Golf teams played another double match with White House and Lebanon.  The girls golf team won their 3rd and 4th match while the boys team lost a close one to Lebanon putting the boys at 3-1 on the season. The Wildcats beat White House by 145 strokes.
The boys were led by Trey Melvin who scored a 79 through 18 holes. Andrew Lena scored a season low of 81 so far for himself.
The girls defeated Lebanon by 8 strokes. Meryl Castle scored an 82 followed by Hannah Roberts with a 90.
The Wildcats and Lady Wildcats will play 18 holes against county rival Lebanon next Tuesday on August 22 beginning at 1:00 pm.  NFHS and WCSN will attempt to broadcast the first ever golf match of Wildcat Golf live from Pine Creek Golf Course in Mt. Juliet with the broadcast slated to begin about 4:00 weather and internet permitting…….
