The Wildcats traveled to Commando Country last Thursday night for a match against perennial power Hendersonville. A corner kick in the second minute allowed Hendersonville to take the early lead but was countered on a breakaway goal by Tyler Gilbert (Assisted by Julio Cervantes) to tie the game in the seventh minute. The two teams went into halftime tied 1-1. Wilson Central pulled ahead in the 62nd minute on a goal scored by Senior Eric Pardue off of a corner served by Sophomore Lucas Anderson.

Hendersonville scored a late goal in the 71st minute to tie the game and give the final score of 2-2. The Wildcats hosted district opponent Portland High School on Saturday (4/22) at 2:00 game time.
